Meet Pastor Dora Richardson

Pastor Dora Woodard Richardson, a down-to-earth, hard-hitting holiness preacher, has been in the Gospel ministry for many years.  Saved in 1971, she received her early mentoring and training under the late State Mother, Katie Smith, of Malone Memorial Church of God in Christ.  Later, she would be called to the ministry.

She and her late husband, Bishop Elijah Richardson, founded the House of Refuge Ministries in Sanford in 1981.  Pastor Dora has been the Senior Pastor since 1999.  The House has birthed many ministries such as prison outreach, a halfway house for prisoners leaving the penal system, street evangelism, a food pantry, and feeding the homeless.

A much sought after speaker, Pastor Dora has conducted many revivals.  She speaks at conferences, seminars, workshops, and special services.  Currently, she can be heard on a weekly radio broadcast, The Time is at Hand, which she has broadcast for the past eleven years.  The ministry went worldwide in 2008, when she began televising and live streaming her messages on the internet.  She also writes frequent religious articles for the Orlando Times newspaper.

A native of Central Florida, Pastor Richardson is the seventh of fifteen children born to the late James and Beaulah Woodard of Winter Garden.  She is the mother of three lovely daughters: Darrilyn, Dia and Doria.  God has given Pastor Richardson a word that will liberate you from the power and guilt of sin.  Her purpose and mission is to teach the body of Christ and model how we should live for God in this present world.
